Faruk Balli is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Massey University, New Zealand. He holds a PhD from the University of Houston (2007) and has worked at the Central Bank of Qatar, Dubai University, and the University of Houston. His research focuses on international macroeconomics and finance, covering asset allocation, consumption smoothing, volatility modelling, and tourism economics. He has published in leading journals such as the Canadian Journal of Economics and The World Economy, serves as referee for over 15 journals, and is an editorial board member of the International Journal of Bonds and Currency Derivatives. His work has been presented at major conferences including the European Finance Association and FMA Annual Meetings.

Prof. Zhou heads the AI and Machine Learning Group and leads the Biomedical Image Processing Lab (BIPL) at University of Leicester. He was PGR Director of CMS (2022-2025), Director of MSc Programme (2018-2019) and Coordinator of MSc Distance Learning at Informatics (2018-2022), and currently is Deputy Director of Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Modelling (AIDAM), Member of the Executive Group of Apollo-Leicester Centre for Digital Health and Precision Medicine (CDHPM). Prior to this appointment, he worked as Reader (2018-2020) at University of Leicester, and Lecturer (2012-2017) at the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queen's University Belfast (QUB). He was a visiting scholar of QUB during 2018-2020.

Zhiquan Liu (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree from the School of Science, Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree from the School of Computer Science and Technology, Xidian University in 2017. He is currently a full professor with the College of Cyber Security, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. His current research focuses on security, trust, privacy, and intelligence in vehicular networks. He currently serves as the area editor or associate editor of multiple SCI-index journals, such as IEEE TIFS, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TII, IEEE IOTJ, Information Fusion, Computer Networks, Journal of Systems Architecture, Ad Hoc Networks, etc.

Abdul Rauf is a full professor at the School of Management Engineering, NUIST, China. His research interests include business economics, energy economics, environmental economics, financial markets, and tourism economics. He has published over 60 SSCI/SCI/EI papers, with many appearing in top journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production and Energy, and several recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers (top 1% globally). His research focuses on energy economics, environmental sustainability, and financial development within the Belt and Road Initiative economies. In 2024, he was awarded the NSFC Foreign Young Scholars Program. His academic vision is to integrate energy, environmental, and financial perspectives to analyze market dynamics and forecast future trends.
